What applies in your town

Grid operator, permits, advice: what applies to your roof between Ebersberg and Rosenheim, with sources.

Grid operator

Mostly Bayernwerk Netz GmbH, here in Rott am Inn too. Some towns have their own grid operator, such as Wasserburg, Bad Aibling, Grafing and Bad Endorf. Further down you can see who covers your town. We handle the registration.

Permits

Whether you live in the Rosenheim, Ebersberg or Mühldorf district: anywhere in Bavaria, solar panels on the roof need no building application (Art. 57 BayBO). Only listed buildings (Denkmal) and houses in a protected ensemble need a permit. The monument map shows whether your house is one of them.

Check your roof

Two free solar maps (Solarkataster) show for every building how well the roof suits solar power: one for the Ebersberg district, one for the city and district of Rosenheim. We work out the exact figures when we visit.

Connect in 2026 and lock in 20 years of fixed feed-in payments

Under the government draft of 29 July 2026, new systems lose the fixed feed-in tariff from 2027. Systems running by 31 December 2026 keep it for 20 years. The law has not been passed yet.

After you order, we usually install within 4 weeks.

From Rott am Inn since 2006

Is your system turning 20?

We built our first systems in 2006, here in the area. Systems that went online that year lose their fixed feed-in tariff on 31 December 2026: it runs for 20 years plus the year of commissioning. The system may keep running. We work out whether to keep it as it is, add a battery or use more of the power yourself.

Balcony systems

A small system? We install those too.

Hardly anyone mounts four modules on a garage roof or a house roof themselves. We do that for you, for a plug-in solar system (Steckersolargerät) too.

Frequently asked questions

Which towns do you cover from Rott am Inn?

Mainly the towns between Ebersberg, Miesbach and the Chiemsee, for example Wasserburg, Haag, Gars, Grafing, Glonn, Bad Aibling, Kolbermoor, Raubling, Bad Endorf and Prien. Towards Munich, our team at Am Moosfeld takes over.

Who is my grid operator?

Mostly Bayernwerk Netz GmbH. Towns with their own operator include Wasserburg (Stadtwerke Wasserburg), Bad Aibling (Stadtwerke Bad Aibling), Grafing (Rothmoser) and Bad Endorf (Elektrizitätswerk Stern). We handle the registration.

Is there free solar advice in the Ebersberg district?

Yes. The Ebersberg-München energy agency offers free online advice sessions, including one on solar panels for your roof. After that we work out the figures for your roof.

How do I find out whether my roof is suitable?

The solar maps of the Ebersberg and Rosenheim districts show it for every building, free of charge. We work out the exact figures when we visit.

Do you install balcony systems too?

Yes, if you cannot do it yourself, for example four modules on a garage or house roof.

How much does a solar system cost?

A 10 kWp system without a battery starts at €14,999 with us, including installation and registration with the grid operator. A battery, a difficult roof or a new meter cabinet add to that. Your quote shows every cost. Systems for residential buildings carry no VAT. As of 23 October 2026.

How long until the system is running?

After you order, we usually install within 4 weeks. We register the system with the grid operator and the national register (Marktstammdatenregister).

Do you advise in English?

Yes. Advice and all the back-and-forth work in English or German. We handle the German forms for the grid operator and the authorities for you.
