Privacy
In short: this website sets no cookies, does not track you and loads no third-party services unless you start a video yourself. What you tell us in the enquiry form, we use for your enquiry.
1. Who is responsible?
PS Energiewende GmbHAm Moosfeld 13, 81829 München, Germany
Phone: 089 200 679 23
Email: anfrage@skysolar.de
Sky Solar is the shared brand of PS Energiewende GmbH (Munich) and Perfect Network GmbH (Rott am Inn). Section 3 explains how we share enquiries between them.
2. When you visit the website
Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, Vercel processes technical connection data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the amount of data sent, the page you came from, and your browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, fast website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). The enquiry form runs on servers in Frankfurt am Main (fra1); the pages themselves are delivered by a worldwide network. Data may be transferred to the USA; Vercel protects such transfers with EU standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More: Vercel privacy notice, data processing agreement.
No cookies, no tracking
We set no cookies and store nothing on your device. There are no advertising services and no visitor profiles. We serve our fonts ourselves; there is no connection to Google Fonts or similar services.
For anonymous page-view statistics we use Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and builds no profiles; visits are counted with a value that changes daily and cannot be traced back to you. When you send an enquiry, the statistics count it with the page language and the page, but without your details from the form. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Calculations in your browser
The sun position, the output curve and the postcode check are calculated by your own browser. For the postcode it loads a list from this website. Our server learns at most the first two digits (which list is loaded), not your full postcode.
3. Your enquiry through the form
What we collect
Postcode and town, type of building, roof shape and covering, electricity use, your interests and preferred timing, first and last name, email address, phone number if you give one, preferred way to be contacted, and your message. We also store the page language, the time, the page you came from and campaign codes in the address (such as utm parameters), if present.
Why, and on what basis
We use your details to handle your enquiry, contact you and prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We use the details about where your enquiry came from to see which pages and campaigns bring enquiries; the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not pass them to advertising networks.
We need your name, email address, postcode and type of building to handle your enquiry. Everything else is optional. There is no automated decision-making and no profiling.
Spam protection
The form contains a field that people do not see and checks how fast it was filled in. We also limit enquiries per IP address; the counters are held only briefly in the server's memory. We use no captcha services.
Who receives your data
- Our customer management system at Supabase Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) stores your enquiry on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). The database is in Ireland (EU). Access from outside the EU is protected by the EU standard contractual clauses in Supabase's data processing agreement. More: Supabase privacy notice.
- For emails we use Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend), USA, as a processor: a notification to our team and, if our customer management system is unavailable, the enquiry itself to our enquiries inbox. Transfers to the USA are protected by EU standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More: Resend privacy notice.
- To handle your enquiry faster, our customer management system summarises it with an AI service. OpenAI Ireland Ltd. processes your details and your message on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR); processing in the USA is possible and is protected by EU standard contractual clauses. The AI decides nothing: people decide whether and how we make you an offer. More: OpenAI privacy policy.
- If your building is in the area of our Rott am Inn location, Perfect Network GmbH (Zainach 21, 83543 Rott am Inn) takes over your enquiry. It then processes your details as a separate controller to advise you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
First questions by email
For enquiries in German, our system may send you a first email with questions about your project. We evaluate your reply with the help of the AI service named above, and a person checks it before anything else happens. For English enquiries, an adviser contacts you personally. If you prefer to talk, just call us.
How long
For as long as we handle your enquiry. If no order follows, we delete your details at the latest 24 months after the last contact. If an order follows, we keep the records for as long as commercial and tax law require (usually six to ten years).
4. When you call or email us
If you call or email us, we process your details to deal with your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Storage works as described in section 3.
5. Customer videos
Our customers' videos are hosted on YouTube. They load only when you click a video, and then through youtube-nocookie.com. Only from that click does Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, receive data such as your IP address, information about your device and which video you watch; Google may set cookies and transfer data to the USA. The legal basis is your consent by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Without a click, nothing is loaded. More: Google privacy policy.
6. Links to other sites
Links, for example to our Google business profiles, lead to other providers. Their privacy notices apply there.
7. Your rights
- Access to your data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Correction (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Withdrawing consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
Objection: where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you can object at any time on grounds relating to your situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
A short email to anfrage@skysolar.de is enough.
8. Complaints
You can complain to a data protection authority. Ours is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.
9. Changes
When the website changes, we update this page. The version with the date above applies.
