## Energy-saving programme

- **Solar PV:** 10 % of the investment cost (battery excluded), only on pitched roofs of at least 20° that turn at least 60° from south towards east or west
- **Battery storage:** not funded (a battery is not part of the cost the grant covers)
- **Plug-in solar:** not funded as such (the municipality's page counts plug-in solar as electricity saving: €0.20 per kWh saved, at most €200, from a cut of 10 % or 75 kWh a year in consumption)

## How it works in Ottobrunn

After applying, sign at your own risk.

1. First an advice talk with the municipality (environment office)
2. Apply with site plan (roof direction), building plan (pitch) and quote, before you order; possible from 1 January of the year
3. The approval comes in writing; the system must be finished by 1 December of the year you apply, or the grant lapses
4. To be paid, hand in invoices and bank transfer receipts; if the invoice is lower than the quote, the grant falls
5. First come, first served and only within the budget; once it is used up for the year, approvals resume the next calendar year
